My job laid me off, so it times to start a new career. So far it’s a lot of challenges without even starting class. My first c After being out school for fifteen and half years and keeping my same coop job from my senior year, I’m going back to school. hallenge is I’m mother of two, one in high school and the other in middle school. So I’m also juggling that as well. The next part of this big challenge is deciding your major you don’t, you don’t have to know then but you may want to know a field that way you can take the right classes. Then I had to take a placement test, ARE YOU KIDDING ME I haven’t taken a test in god knows how long. My advice to you is take your time no matter how many people you see getting up and leaving because the better you do the better chances you have in taking the classes you need to. Even if you don’t get the high score don’t worry because you can always retake or you can take the class that will prepare you for this class you need.
One of the major task is I had to register for school which wasn’t bad but make sure let me repeat make sure you turn in all the paper work they ask for because they will keep returning your paper work until you do. The sooner the better to make sure you’re approved. If just getting started for school is this stressful I hate to see what class is going to be like. I let you all know next week.
Tanisha,
ReplyDeleteAre you going to focus specifically on ICC students? If so, you can really get detailed and possibly more effective in your advice. If not, then experiences like the placement test should be more generalized as they won't make sense to an outside audience. Ask me about this.
Good topic. Also, I think your voice is really appropriate for your audience.
